Barcelona are set to make a €15 million (£14m/$18m) bid for Eric Garcia after the defender and former barca youth team player turned down a contract extension and made it clear that he wants to leave according to goal.com.The Catalan giants have made the 19-year-old their top target with his contract at the Etihad Stadium moving into its final year.City are understood to value Garcia at around €35m (£32m/$42m) and are prepared to let him see out the final 12 months of his contract unless they receive a suitable offer.
Garcia left Barca’s La Masia academy three years ago and broke into the first team at City but the Catalan see him as the long-term successor to Gerard Pique.
