Vice President Osibanjo to represent Nigeria at Queen Elizabeth II Burial

 

The Nigerian Vice president, Professor Yemi Osibanjo will be the one to represent Nigeria in the burial of Queen Elizabeth II, that is scheduled to hold on the 19th of September 2022.

Queen Elizabeth II who was the queen of United Kingdom and other commonwealth realms  died on the 8th of September 2022. She was the queen regnant of 32 kingdoms during her lifetime and 15 during the time of her death. She also reigned for 70 years and 214 days which is the longest reign of a British Monarch ever and also the second longest reign of any verified Monarch ever.

The queen who gave birth to four children, whose names are King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward has been succeeded by his eldest son King Charles III, who was crowned King of United Kingdom following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has been scheduled to travel to London, for the burial which will have the powerful men and women of the world in attendance, the burial is to hold at Westminster Abbey, St George’s Chapel, Windsor.
