LG GENCOOL Multi Step Control Air Conditioner Launched in Nigeria

LG Electronics, a home appliances and consumer electronics giant, has introduced a new GENCOOL Multi Step Control air conditioner into the Nigerian market, to help consumers save more energy and ensure that cooling is not a concern for everyone.

The Gencool air conditioners are well known for their ability to save as much as 70% on electricity consumption with 40% faster cooling, thereby reducing bills.

The new GENCOOL with Multi Step Control, like all of LG’s recently launched ACs, works effortlessly with even 0.9 KVA Generator, sometimes known as “I better pass my neighbour,” which is a popular source of electricity among Nigerians.

It also has a DUAL inverter compressor and a 10-year warranty, allowing users to enjoy the benefits of an LG air conditioner for a longer period of time.

The GEN MODE Multi Step function boast of three levels of energy-saving and efficient cooling. At Level 1, it provides “continuous cooling” with less energy using a smaller energy consumption step compared to the other levels. Level 2 provides “maximum cooling” depending on generator capacity while level 3, according to the environment of AC user, offers maximum cooling while saving energy in comparison with having the Gen Mode function turned off.

According to Mr. Jung June Yoon, General Manager, Air Solution Division, LG Electronics West Africa, the launch of the new GENCOOL with multi step control is designed to address the needs of Nigerian consumers who want to save more energy while providing better cooling comfort.

“For us at LG Electronics, we are excited to be unveiling the New GENCOOL air conditioners with multi step control technology. This new introduction demonstrates once again that LG obviously has the potential to meet the needs of consumers who want to use their ACs with small capacity generators without having to worry about the start-up electric power for optimum performance in Nigeria.”

“We provide a high-quality range of residential air conditioning units and systems to make living at home more comfortable. With years of experience and innovative designs, we offer quicker and quieter air cooling with LG’s DUAL Inverter Compressor split AC”, he said.

Mr. Yoon added that “the new AC also comes with a 10-year warranty on the inverter compressor, making it a great value for money for anyone looking for a quality product that will last.”

“We’re eager to introduce our expanded GENCOOL & ARTCOOL line-up, complete with premium aesthetics and outstanding performance,” said Mr. Hari Elluru, Head of Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics West Africa Operations. LG is changing the game by providing more advanced technologies that would provide an energy efficient and healthier lifestyle to all of its customers.

In his words, “With the new ACs GEN multi step feature, you can further minimize start-up electric requirements. Apart from control, consumers also get filter cleaning notifications and control multiple home appliances through smart ThinQ. In addition, the ACs features Smart Diagnosis™, which sends helpful notifications via smartphone and offers support for a wide range of technical issues to make troubleshooting quick and simple.

The new product comes in different colours and it’s truly a thing of beauty, adding décor and novelty to your home.
